Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update – April 15

Oakland Athletics (Straily) at Los Angeles Angels (Richards)

Straily was absolutely killed by the Angels last year, giving up 14 earned runs in just 22.2 innings over four starts. He’s a no-go today. There are some Oakland hitters that have done very well in their history against Garrett Richards, however.

Brandon Moss (1B) – $6690

Eric Sogard (2B) – $4049

Garrett Richards, to give a clichéd statement here, has been effectively wild; through his first two starts, he’s only given up four hits against, but has added eight walks to that. He’s not throwing a ton of strikes so if the Athletics can avoid chasing, they should do well tonight. I do like some Angels hitters against Straily tonight, though.
