Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 7

Michael Clifford breaks down every matchup to find the best daily fantasy baseball values to fill your DraftStreet lineup for April 7.

Cincinnati Reds (Cingrani) at St. Louis Cardinals (Wacha)

This should be a very fun game to watch, at least from a pitching standpoint.

Both of these pitchers looked very sharp in their first outings of the season and that could lead to a lot of missed bats today. Most Reds didn’t do very well against Wacha last year but there is one name who succeeded (in a very small sample size); Joey Votto had four hits (two doubles) and a walk in eight at bats against Wacha in 2013.

Joey Votto (1B) – $6413

Most Cardinals did little against Cingrani but like the Reds, there is one name that did well in a small sample against him and regardless, he seems like a near-auto start so far this year.

Matt Carpenter (3B) – $5879
