Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 7

Chris Davis

Tampa Bay Rays (Moore) at Kansas City Royals (Vargas)

This is another game that could be threatened to get rained out, though judging by the forecast it might just get a later start.

Matt Moore has had a lot of trouble with the Royals in his limited showing against them, with an ERA over 6.00 and a WHIP over 1.80 in two career starts. There isn’t one particular player that has killed him, but as a team they have hit .347 off of him with seven extra-base hits. There aren’t many Rays I am high on right now but for one.

Ben Zobrist (2B) – $6403

I am probably never taking Jason Vargas in DFS this year and that streak will continue tonight. One interesting note about him from last year is that no left-handers hit a home run off of him, so regardless of if they start or not, guys like James Loney and Matt Joyce can hit the bricks. There are good, cheap right-handed options for the Royals in this one, though.

Alcides Escobar (SS) – $3356

Danny Valencia (3B) – $5786
