Daily Fantasy Hockey DFS Value Update – April 8

Philadelphia Flyers at Florida Panthers

A win tonight will give the Flyers a playoff spot and their last game provided a bit of insight into what to expect; the team had only scored 12 goals in their previous seven games before that. This team is loaded offensively and I think they’ll be playing with some extra incentive tonight.

The Panthers are a bit tough to figure out right now. The team has allowed fewer than 20 shots against in two of their last three home games but the ones where they did, they lost. The lone game they had more than 20 shots against, they allowed 37 and won. As far as DFS goes, this is fairly unreliable but it does make Roberto Luongo a good target for a GPP goalie.

I’m not going to over-think this one. I think the Flyers win but there might not be a ton of goals to pick from. I’ll pick some guys from the top line for my 50/50s from Philly, but the best play might actually be Luongo for GPPs.
