Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – June 27

Marcell Ozuna

New York Mets (deGrom) at Pittsburgh Pirates (Cumpton)

deGrom is far too wild and still has a ways to regress before he hits the bottom. I’ll pass on both he and Cumpton in this one.

The Mets don’t bring me a lot of confidence outside of Daniel Murphy but there are still some good values. Granderson has been better than expected this year but Lucas Duda is also a very good price at first base. Any of the three are decent values so it’s a matter of what position needs filling.

Daniel Murphy (2B) – $6396

Lucas Duda (1B) – $5102

Curtis Granderson (OF) – $5697

The Pirates – for good reason – all have fairly high prices on their players (five guys over $6300). When prices get a bit out of whack like that, there are two approaches to take: Either the top hitter (McCutchen) or a punt play like Jordy Mercer. I’m not going to take the middling players and hope they get in part of the offense.

Andrew McCutchen (OF) – $7502

Jordy Mercer (SS) – $4277
