This article will cover the main slate.
Cash Game Plays
($6100) Derek Carr vs CAR | -3 OAK, 49.5
If I told you the raiders would be favored vs the panthers a year ago you would think im an idiot, but the world turns and here we are. Carr is far too cheap for what he has been doing with 2 great wideouts
He is averaging 20.7 fantasy points a game and the Panthers allow 8th most fpts to qbs and the 6th most pass yard allowed. The Raider’s side also has a great team total 26.25
($8900)David Johnson @ ATL | -5.5 ATL, 51
DJ is just starting to be priced on DraftKings where he should have been all season. He has a high floor and is all but guaranteed to get the most touches on the slate due to Le’Veon Bell not being on it. The only thing working well in the Arizona offense is DJ and you can bet he will be force fed touches and succeed.
($4000)Tyler Boyd @ BAL | -4 BAL, 40.5
There will be no aj green and since he was injured on the second play of the game we have seen how the Bengals will adjust. Boyd had 8 targets and is a preseason hero come to save your DFS lineups in the real season.
($3300) Cj Fiedorawicz vs SD| -2.5 AD, 46.5
The Chargers have a bad secondary and CJ has been seeing an average of 7.3 targets in his last 6 games. Osweiler doesn’t have confidence and possibly strength to push the ball down the field to Hopkins and Fuller so he goes underneath to Ryan Griffen and CJ Fiedoragoat. He is too cheap and will be popular in cash games.
GPP Plays
($6800)Russell Wilson @ TB | -6 SEA, 46.5
Russel’s mobility is returning and while the yards weren’t there last week, he was throwing on the move a lot and his willingness to run was shown by his 8 rush attempts. He hasn’t eclipsed 3 rushes since week 6. Wilson is averaging 27 fantasy points over his last 3 with the offense really clicking. The weakness of the TB secondary is well documented and the Bucs provide a funnel defense, which should lead to pass volume for Russ.
($7600) Jay Ajayi vs SF | -7 MIA, 45.5
Everyone will be on this play, but they probably should be. SF is breaking records in a bad way with how bad their defense is, specifically vs the run. They allow opposing teams to run more plays due to their fast time between offensive snaps, and we have seen that be the biggest positive for opposing RBs. Miami wants to run the ball and a matchup with the 49ers suggests a positive game script to do so, leading to Ajayi likely reaching his touch ceiling.
($7700)Amari Cooper vs CAR | -3 OAK, 49.5
I love Carr so you know I love cooper. The last time the raiders faced a funnel defense with a terrible secondary he went of for 38.3 dk points vs TB.
($5300) Jimmy Graham @ TB | -6 SEA, 46.5
His targets are in flux but he carries the most upside at the position this week. I like pairing him with Wilson and using him in the flex as well.
