If you happened to be in the Los Angeles area this past St. Patrick’s Day, you may have caught a glimpse of the world famous Batmobile cruising the streets.
What you probably didn’t know was that behind the wheel of the iconic car was none other than NASCAR driver—and 2015 Daytona 500 winner—Joey Logano.
The Michael Keaton era Batman Batmobile belongs to Logano’s good friend, ventriloquist/comedian Jeff Dunham, and with Logano in town for a Sprint Cup series race, the pair decided to hit the streets of L.A. in style.

First stop—the gas station. Surprisingly the Batmobile runs on regular gasoline, and not, as I assumed, pure awesomeness.

What it lacks in leg room it more than makes up for in crime fighting gadgetry.

Can’t wait to see the GoPro footage Logano promised. Even if it’s just three hours of them doing donuts in a parking lot, it will be infinitely better than the dumpster fire that was Batman & Robin.
