Point Guard
Dennis Schroder ($4600, 25.0 USG) – Jeff Teague (ankle) and Kent Bazemore (anke) have both been ruled out for tonight’s game against the Nets making Schroder one of the best value plays of the day. In his last start with Teague out (Sunday), Schroder tallied 32.5 DK points against a much tougher matchup (Utah). This time around, you’re gonna get 30+ minutes against a terrible Brooklyn defense. He’s a must play in cash games at such a cheap price fade at your own risk.

Shooting Guard
Will Barton ($4700, 21.2 USG) – Barton is starting to look like a huge steal for the Nuggets. He signed a three year, $10.6 million dollar contract extension this summer and playing like a guy who should be averaging about $10 million per year. With his improved ball handling and shooting stroke (.419 3P%), it’s becoming harder and harder for Denver to waste his minutes on the bench. Averaging 43.65 DK points over his last 2, you’d have to be foolish to not consider Barton tonight. I think Garrett Temple is tempting (no pun intended) if starting in place of Beal again tonight at only $3200, but I’m gonna do my best to fit Barton in there against a poor New Orleans (17th against opposing SG’s) defensive backcourt
Small Forward
Thabo Sefolosha ($3500, 14.0 USG) – See above with Dennis Schroder. As usual, the SF position doesn’t excite me much tonight. Most of the enticing options are priced over $5000 (LeBron, Giannis, Porter and Barnes) but much like Schroder, opportunity means minutes and at $3500, you don’t need Sefolosha to do much to reach value. The Nets give up the 5th most fantasy points to opposing small forwards (42.3) and Hawks are projected to score 100.5 points making this a viable punt play.
Power Forward
Cody Zeller ($3500, 16.0 USG) – With P.J. Hairston (quadriceps) out and Jeremy Lamb questionable (shoulder), both Marvin Williams and Zeller will be in the starting lineup tonight in a nice matchup against the Knicks. You won’t have to worry about both eating into one anothers minutes which is quite the relief and an opportunity that needs to be taken advantage of. Zeller’s averaging close to a double double per 36 (11.5 points and 8.6 rebounds), so if he gets starters minutes, my guess is he exceeds value comfortably.
Center
Andrew Bogut ($4800, 13.6 USG) – Another position I’d recommend paying up for tonight (I’m going Whiteside and Horford) but Bogut isn’t a bad way to go if wanting to save money. I would have never recommended him earlier in the week coming off injury and splitting time with Festus Ezeli, but the Warriors have placed him back into the starting line up and if Saturday was any indication of what a healthy Bogut can give us (10 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists in 32 minutes), being priced under $5000 is just robbery. Toronto gives up the 8th most fantasy points to opposing centers (52.2) and Drayond Green is gonna try and give it a go tonight playing with the flu. If Draymond doesn’t seem anywhere near full strength, I can see a scenario where Bogut plays over 30 minutes again tonight.
