When you think you’ve seen it all, along comes a play that will leave you absolutely stunned. Such a play occurred during Saturday’s Arkansas-Vanderbilt college baseball tilt. With the score tied 7-7 in the 10th inning, Vandy’s Ro Coleman tried scoring on a shallow fly to right. The throw beat Coleman to the plate, and that’s when the play went completely off the rails.
That looked less like a baseball play and more like a mongoose fighting a cobra. Luckily for the Razorbacks their was a second mongoose covering home plate to tag the elusive Coleman out. No worries for the Commodores though, as they went on to win 8-7 in 12 innings.
