Indianapolis Colts
Colts management realized that Andrew Luck needs better pieces around him and addressed the situation with a handful of veterans who could be the difference when it comes to the postseason. The Colts signed Frank Gore and Andre Johnson to provide a reliable running back and proven wide receiver to help out the soon-to-be fourth-year signal-caller as he prepares for what team officials believe is his prime. Now the offense’s biggest needs have been filled, though the window is small with these pieces.
Indianapolis also added guard Todd Herremans to beef up its offensive line, and signed linebacker Trent Cole and defensive lineman Kendall Langford to try and upgrade some spots along the defense. In a very convoluted AFC landscape, Indy may have done enough to be considered a favorite along with the Broncos and defending champion Patriots.
