7. Carlos Rodon – LHP – Chicago White Sox
The third overall pick in the 2014 First-Player Draft, Carlos Rodon is a near-lock to see Major League action in April. In fact, the White Sox toyed with the idea of Rodon getting some innings with the team last September. With Chris Sale on the shelf to start the year, the southpaw may slide into the back of the rotation to start the season.
Rodon will pitch with the White Sox this season, barring injury. His slider is touted as devastating, and, even more than the aforementioned Aaron Nola, he is largely considered ‘ready’ by all accounts.
