5 Takeaways From The LeSean McCoy Trade

LeSean McCoy

1. Kelly’s way or the highway

A year ago, Kelly released wide receiver DeSean Jackson and he ended up with NFC East rival Washington. Fast forward to today, and he has no problems sending another offensive superstar out of Philadelphia.

Reports indicate there may have been a budding riff between McCoy and Kelly, as the two did not always see “eye to eye” with one another.

Just as Kelly has shown with the wide receiver and quarterback position, players can be replaced. Though McCoy is considered to be in the upper echelon of NFL running backs, Kelly — just as he did in Oregon — will plug in a new set of wheels and cross his fingers that the car will still drive fast.
