The reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Mariota posted video game-esque numbers during his tenure with Oregon and projects to be a dual-threat quarterback at the next level.
There are concerns about his ability to thrive in a pro-style system having sustaining so much success in the Ducks’ fast-paced spread offense. Then again, he could just land in Philadelphia and re-unite with Chip Kelly, which would erase all of those question marks.
Mariota earned rave reviews during the combine, but a common theme was that he was not very talkative. Shyness is not something every team wants from their quarterback. Then again, outspoken isn’t exactly the best trait either.
