6. Kansas City Chiefs
Like the Texans, the Chiefs have a lot of pieces already in place. The only thing lacking is a dynamic passing attack, as the very limited Alex Smith remains the starting quarterback. Kansas City went an entire season without a wide receiver catching a touchdown pass. I’d be hard-pressed to imagine one half of football would go by without Manning connecting with a receiver for a score.
The downside is that Manning would have to see his old Denver squad twice a season. Awkward, for sure, but the chance to see Manning teamed up with Jamaal Charles is quite intriguing. Perhaps then we’d see some of that old-school Andy Reid creativity again.
