Talk about a total turnaround if perennial MVP candidates in Manning and J.J. Watt were on the same team … Houston saw drastic improvements in just one season under Bill O’Brien, and there’s no question the AFC South race would get that much more interesting if Manning and Luck met twice a year as division foes.
Houston has most of its pieces already in place — Arian Foster, Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins — but just began a carousel under center. Ryan Fitzpatrick was the team’s best option last season. Well, that serves the team right after reportedly passing up on Manning back in 2012. Perhaps they can redeem themselves this time around.
