Barry Trotz’s hiring certainly helps that, but so too did beefing up the blue line with Matt Niskanen and Brooks Orpik. Mike Green‘s 62 percent Corsi-for percentage – and even a 56 percent 5-on-5 Corsi-for percentage — also doesn’t hurt.
