Daily Fantasy Basketball is back, which means each day XN Sports will have a column detailing advised plays and lineups for the remainder of the NBA season. For those familiar with DraftKings, their daily fantasy basketball is formatted differently this season. There is no multi-position eligibility, which makes it a bit harder to set your lineup.
For those unfamiliar with DraftKings, you are given $50,000 in cap space to select a point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward, center, a guard, a forward, and a utility player. There are no points deducted for missed shots, which changes the strategy from other sites. To read the full scoring, click here. Keep in mind that a double-double awards a bonus, which can be the difference between cashing in and winning nothing.
Generally, the goal for value is at five times a players salary. That brings a lineup to 250 fantasy points, which will cash on most days.

Without further ado, the value plays and lineups for November 13th:
Value Plays
Guard
Courtney Lee, Shooting Guard, Memphis Grizzlies $4,800
Lee has been a godsend to the daily fantasy community so far this season, as a cheap option who starts and consistently plays well over 30 minutes a game. Lee’s price has risen, but it’s still low enough for him to be considered a value play tonight. He’ll need around 24 fantasy points or more to reach value, which he has done in all but one game this season, which came in a game where he left early with an concussion. It’s not often that a player has reached value in every game this season, but in this case it’s true. Lee will face the Kings tonight, who present an interesting matchup for the sharp-shooting Lee. The Kings are allowing opponents to take the second-most shots from beyond the arc, and are allowing the fourth-most total shots this season. For a player that accrues most of his fantasy points via scoring, that is an excellent matchup for Lee tonight.
Other values at guard: Lou Williams, TOR $3,000
Forward
Terrence Ross, Small Forward, Toronto Raptors $4,400
Ross has been on fire from long distance of late, draining four three-pointers in each of his last three games. He is shooting an unconscious 47.4 percent from beyond the arc, and that gives him value at his low price of $4,400. Value for Ross tonight would be anything higher than 22 fantasy points, which is just 1.6 above his season average. In the last three games, Ross is averaging just under 29 fantasy points per contest. The Raptors do face the Bulls tonight, who are one of the better defensive teams in the NBA, but with Ross on fire from three and Chicago in the bottom third in rebound percentage, it’s quietly a good matchup in disguise for the forward.
Other values at forward: Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, PHI $3,500 and K.J. McDaniels, PHI $4,300
Center of the Night
Center is just too difficult a position to find value, which is why spending is highly advised. Rather than trying to find a value at center for each night, XNSports will outline the best matchup a center has for each given night.
Tyson Chandler, Dallas Mavericks, $6,200
In a short slate, there is rarely a center that sticks out. Tonight is one of those nights for the Mavericks’ center. Chandler is priced at $6,200, which means value is anything over 31 fantasy points. He is averaging 29.3 fantasy points per game so far this season, so his matchup will have to take him over the top. Enter the Philadelphia 76ers, who are near the bottom in nearly every statistical category on defense. They are 27th in points allowed per game, 25th in opposing field goal percentage, last in rebound percentage, and have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing centers. The only thing that could prevent Chandler from hitting value is foul trouble or a blowout.
