Video: Former Saints Player Fired From Coaching Gig For Body-Slamming a Student

Former New Orleans Saints star Charles Grant has been booted from his volunteer assistant coaching gig at Bowie State after TMZ released video of the defensive end body slamming a student-athlete in the school gym.

It’s unclear what exactly led up to this confrontation but it is clear that Grant does not like to be touched.

Grant, 36, last played in 2009 when he started all 16 games and recorded 5.5 sacks and a forced fumble. He played all of his eight pro seasons with the Saints, accumulating 47 sacks and 17 forced fumbles.

His coaching career, on the other hand, is off to a pretty shaky start.
