Takeaways From Week 6 In The NFL

Tony Romo

6. Injury roundup

Darren Sproles suffered a left knee injury in the Sunday night game against the Giants. He was able to walk off the field without help, but an Eagles team doctor said there was concern about the ability of Sproles’ ACL and MCL.

Victor Cruz was also hurt in that game, having to be carted off the field with a torn patellar tendon. This type of injury means Cruz’s season is likely over.

Stevan Ridley was forced from the Patriots’ win over Buffalo, and he’ll have an MRI Monday on his knee to determine its severity. Reports indicate the injury could be serious.

Cordarrelle Patterson has been one of the biggest letdowns on the season thus far, a case in which the team cannot get the talented wideout involved. Patterson’s hip left him at less than 100 percent Sunday and was not in the game for the full amount of snaps. It could be a cause for concern.
