Week 4 NFL Power Rankings

Russell Wilson

7. San Diego Chargers (Last week: 9)

Down to their third-string running back, San Diego still knocked Buffalo over at Ralph Wilson Stadium to move to 2-1. It doesn’t seem to matter who Philip Rivers is handing off to or targeting in the passing game. This defense is really beginning to step up, too.

What to know: Much-maligned cornerback Brandon Flowers, who was released by the Chiefs and quickly scooped up by the Chargers in the offseason, earned a +4.5 grade from Pro Football Focus. Flowers was targeted eight times, allowing four catches for 29 yards, plus a pass breakup.
