5. Josh Freeman
Freeman played for Minnesota and Tampa Bay last season, then was released by the Giants at the end of May. He’s the best young quarterback still on the free-agent market, and has been working with former Bucs coach and current ESPN NFL analyst Jon Gruden in an attempt to get his career back on the right path.
Freeman boasts a strong arm, but he’s struggled with accuracy and work ethic during his short NFL career. He has a lot of upside, and maybe the recent work he’s done over the summer could intrigue St. Louis to take a flier on him.
