16. Cincinnati Reds (60-58) (LW 18) Cincinnati has found baseball’s next power-hitting catcher. Devin Mesoraco hit two home runs on Sunday to give him 20 on the year, making him the first catcher to reach that milestone this year.

17. Cleveland Indians (59-59) (LW 13) The Indians have established themselves as a streaky team. Cleveland followed up a four-game winning streak, during which they allowed just six runs, with a four-game losing streak, giving up 31 runs.

18. Tampa Bay Rays (57-60) (LW 16)The Rays’ pitching staff made some history over the weekend. In their three-game series with the Cubs, Tampa struck out 44 batters. That’s a new franchise record for a single series, breaking the previous mark of 40 in a 2012 series against the Mariners.

19. Miami Marlins (57-60) (LW 19)Giancarlo Stanton won’t slow down. With three home runs in four games, he is now one shy of his third 30-homer season.

20. New York Mets (56-62) (LW 21) – The Mets are hoping they are not looking at serious problems from rookie pitcher Jacob deGrom. He will miss at least one start while undergoing tests on his sore shoulder. In 16 starts this season, he is 6-5 with a 2.87 ERA.
