You can argue Ryan is on the hot seat, too. The defense is as good as any unit in the league, though the offense will be a work in progress and a lot will depend on how Geno Smith progresses in Year 2.

The Jets signed Eric Decker and Chris Johnson, meaning the team believes it can make the playoffs this year. If Ryan produces a sub-.500 year, there will likely be a new coach (with less bravado) manning the Jets in 2015.
