5 NFL Coaches On The Hot Seat Entering 2014

3. Jason Garrett

With Jerry Jones calling the shots, it’s pretty much impossible to predict if Garrett will be the coach of the Cowboys Week 8, in 2015, or in five more years.

Jones had stood by Garrett, who has been a part of the Cowboys family since the days he was backing up Troy Aikman. And Jones continues to pour support out for his head coach.

The Cowboys have one of the worst rosters in the NFL. Tony Romo is 34 years old and the defense’s best player, Sean Lee, will be sidelined for the year. Perhaps the bad roster will allow Garrett to earn another year, but what are you getting in a coach that’s delivered .500 seasons the past three years?
