Detroit Tigers – The Tigers responded to Oakland getting Jon Lester by getting an ace of their own in David Price. They get at least a year and a half of Price, which is good for his track record but also as insurance if Max Scherzer leaves via free agency. The Tigers also made this deal without giving up Rick Porcello, who has really emerged this year. The Tigers already had one of the game’s best rotations even with Justin Verlander having a down year and it’s hard to argue that they didn’t get even better – Grade A
