With the Jaguars not expecting Justin Blackmon anytime soon, it seems strange to think any of the team’s wide receivers would be on the chopping block. However, some reports suggest Sanders is on the bubble.
Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson are on track to earn starting jobs, with Cecil Shorts also in the mix as the slot receiver over Sanders. It also doesn’t hurt Sanders will begin 2014 on the sidelines due to a four-game suspension.
