After three disappointing years in the league, Mathews finally had a season to remember in 2013 under coach Mike McCoy.
Mathews is in a timeshare with newly signed Donald Brown and Danny Woodhead, but Mathews is the most talented of the bunch. He needs to replicate his ’13 campaign in order to earn a deal, either with San Diego or elsewhere.
