Orakpo was the recipient of the Redskins’ franchise tag, coming off a 2013 season in which he recorded 10.0 sacks.
He’s the team’s marquee pass-rusher, and according to Pro Football Focus he had the fifth-best Pass Rushing Productivity. He’ll make $11.45 million under the tag in 2014.
