11. Pittsburgh Pirates (52-46) (LW 13) – Neil Walker helped the Pirates to a sweep of the Rockies. The second baseman hit safely in all three games, which included two three-hit performances and five runs.

12. Cleveland Indians (50-48) (LW 14) – The Indians started out after the layoff on the right foot by taking three of four from division-leading Detroit and scoring 21 runs in the process.

13. Seattle Mariners (52-46) (LW 11) – The Mariners did all they could to win their series in Anaheim. After splitting the first two games that totaled 28 innings, closer Fernando Rodney blew a ninth inning lead, losing their second one-run game of the series.

14. Cincinnati Reds (51-47) (LW 9) – The Reds had opportunities to win in New York, but ended up being swept by the Yankees. Cincy only managed six runs in the three games.

15. New York Yankees (50-47) (LW 16) – The Yankees may be dealing with devastating injuries to their pitching staff, but you wouldn’t know it at the moment. New York pitchers have only allowed four earned runs through their first three games of the second half.
