The truth heads to the capital
I’m a huge fan of the Wiz signing Pierce to add a major veteran presence to one of the league’s rising teams. However, I don’t think Pierce should be counted on to be an adequate replacement for Trevor Ariza, who signed on with Houston.
At this stage in his career, Pierce should be a sixth man — which is why I felt like the Los Angeles Clippers would have benefited by signing him. Perhaps the Wizards front office as another move in the works, unless they are counting on Bradley Beal to take another large step forward.
