Pittsburgh Pirates (Volquez) at Tampa Bay Rays (Cobb)

Pass on Volquez. I’m not very excited about the Pirates bats tonight, either. The Pirates averaged fewer than four runs a game over their last two series and Cobb is a pretty tough match-up for them. I’ll avoid most of their bats here tonight.

Russell Martin (C) – $5232

I do like Cobb here tonight. The Pirates strike out often enough against RHP that there is a decent amount of upside for Cobb in this match-up. Believe it or not, the Rays have a higher team OPS this month than the Jays, so avoiding their bats entirely isn’t necessarily the move here anymore.
