San Diego Padres (Despaigne) at San Francisco Giants (Cain)
Just avoid the Padres. This is possibly one of the worst hitting teams to ever assemble (literally; this team, as of today, has the lowest OPS in the history of the Padres organization). Despaigne isn’t offered, so the Padres are a pass here today and maybe forever.
Probably Cain’s best outing of the season came a couple months ago against San Diego. If he was ever going to have a good game, this is probably one of them. He’s nearly a must-start tonight. Despaigne has a very lively arm but can be very wild, too. I’ll tread very lightly around the Giants lineup tonight.
Hunter Pence (OF) – $6869
Matt Cain (SP) – $15,455
Good luck and here’s today’s lineup!
