Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – June 17

Jon Niese

Minnesota Twins (Hughes) at Boston Red Sox (Lester)

Hughes has a pretty cheap price and the Red Sox have not been swinging a good bat so far this month as a whole. He’s not a bad option for tonight whatsoever. Other than Willingham, I’m staying away from these Minnesota bats tonight.

Phil Hughes (SP) – $15,305

Josh Willingham (OF) – $5655

Lester is getting an offense that has been about as proficient against lefties this year as the Rays have. He’s a near must-start tonight. I don’t mind Pierzynski as a catcher tonight because he’s been one of the few Red Sox that’s been good against right-handers this year and has an exceptionally cheap price.

Jon Lester (SP) – $19,689

A.J. Pierzynski (C) – $4043
