Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – June 17

Jon Niese

Toronto Blue Jays (Stroman) at New York Yankees (Tanaka)

Stroman makes an interesting target tonight. He’s pretty cheap, has pitched pretty well since being put in the rotation (18 innings, five earned runs, 17 strikeouts, two walks) and has a good match-up; only the Rangers and Mariners have been worse American League teams against righty pitching this year. I’m not going after many of their hitters against, Tanaka, though.

Marcus Stroman (SP) – $11,811

Dioner Navarro (C) – $3741

Tanaka is obviously a great option but pitching against the Blue Jays means I’d rather spend that chunk of salary elsewhere. I’m not looking at many of their hitters against Stroman, either, for reasons mentioned about why I like Stroman as a starter tonight.

Yangervis Solarte (3B) – $5434
