New York Mets (Niese) at Philadelphia Phillies (Hamels)
The Phillies actually have a good lineup for hitting lefties, as guys like Mayberry, Ruiz, and Byrd have mashed lefty pitching this year. That makes Niese avoidable for today. Conversely, there are a couple of Mets hitters that have hit lefties well themselves. Though, they did get carved by Hamels at few weeks ago.
Juan Lagares (OF) – $5119
I will be taking Hamels in quite a few lineups today, mainly because he’s already shown the ability to get through this Mets lineup with relative ease once this year. Also, their lefty-mashers are still relatively cheap so there are so nice targets for this team today.
