Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – June 1

Michael Clifford breaks down every game to find the most favorable daily fantasy baseball matchups.

Minnesota Twins (Hughes) at New York Yankees (Whitley)

Hughes goes back to New York for his first start since heading to the Twins in the offseason. There really isn’t a lot to fear for the Yankees lineup with Teixeira and Beltran both out now (Tex left the game last night with problems in his surgically-repaired wrist). It’s still Yankee Stadium, though, so I might rather use Hughes in a GPP than cash games.

Eduardo Escobar (SS) – $4874

Chase Whitley is exceedingly cheap and the Minnesota bats have gone pretty cold over the last week and a half. If taking to very expensive pitchers today, it’s not a bad idea to handcuff him with them. Whitley pitched well in the Minors and even five good innings is more than worth his price today.

Chase Whitley (SP) – $8339

Brian Roberts (2B) – $4943
