Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – May 21

Arizona Diamondbacks (McCarthy) at St. Louis Cardinals (Wacha)

I am always tempted to use Brandon McCarthy because his underlying numbers scream that he should improve yet as recently as a couple starts ago he was blown out of the game. I’ll pass for today but it pains me to do so. I’ll stay away from most D’backs hitters against Wacha as well.

A.J. Pollock (OF) – $4744

Wacha has been lights out pretty much every start this year but his last few starts have produced more hits than innings pitched and that cuts in to value pretty quickly. I’ll pass on him tonight and look towards other, cheaper options. I’ll be taking a chance that Matt Adams keeps the good times rolling, though.
