Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – May 11

Philadelphia Phillies (Hamels) at New York Mets (Niese)

Since returning from injury, Cole Hamels just has not looked right. He’s walking too many batters, not striking as many out as he normally does, and just probably needs time to settle in. I’ll shy away today. Also, I’ll shy away from most Phillies hitters against Jonathon Niese today, too.

Carlos Ruiz (C) – $6342

Jonathon Niese is one of my favorite starters today. Other than a couple guys on hot streaks, there really isn’t much to worry about with the Phillies’ lineup right now. While Hamels hasn’t been very good, I’m not sure who on the Mets will light him up. I’ll tread lightly here.
