Kansas City Royals (Guthrie) at Seattle Mariners (Elias)
I’ll have Guthrie in quite a few lineups because he’s not that bad but the Mariners’ lineup has been for the last several games. I will not be taking (m)any Royals hitters against the lefty Elias today, though. They are literally the worst-hitting team against lefties so far this year.
Jeremy Guthrie (SP) – $11,449
Norichika Aoki (OF) – $5021
Roenis Elias has a K:BB ratio of 22:8 over his last three starts and has allowed just seven earned runs over that stretch (3.32 ERA). This is one of those very rare instances where starting both pitchers probably isn’t a bad idea. I’d rather have Guthrie, though, so I’ll take him out of this game. I won’t be taking Seattle hitters today, though.
Good luck and here’s today’s lineup!
