St. Louis Cardinals (Wacha) at Chicago Cubs (Arrieta)
Wacha has pitched a little better at home than he does on the road and that’s enough to make me like Tanaka ahead of Wacha today though their respective salaries are nearly identical. The Cardinals hitters get a very nice match-up with Jake Arrieta’ first start of the season and make a nice target for GPPs. There are a couple that I like for double-ups as well.
Matt Adams (1B) – $5609
Matt Carpenter (3B) – $6433
Even though Wacha is a bit worse away from home doesn’t make the Cubs hitters a good start today. Also, I think I’d rather avoid Arrieta’s first start of the year.
