Detroit Tigers (Smyly) at Kansas City Royals (Duffy)

I like Smyly today against the Royals but my concern is that he’s not fully stretched out so even a couple of long innings could limit his outing to just five (or less). At his price, it might still be worth the risk. There are some nice hitters against Duffy today, too.

Victor Martinez (DH) – $6975

Rajai Davis (OF) – $6006

Drew Smyly (DET) – $15,683

The Kansas City Royals are sending Danny Duffy for his first start this year. He’s a nice arm, but like Smyly, he’s probably not fully stretched out yet. I’ll hold off for now. Almost all Royals hitters have been awful against lefties this year.
