Arizona Diamondbacks (McCarthy) at San Diego Padres (Kennedy)
As far as low-tier pitchers go, McCarthy is one of the best for today. He gets a very poor-hitting Padres team in San Diego and McCarthy has really settled over his last three starts. I’m not high on their hitters against Kennedy in San Diego, though.

Brandon McCarthy (SP) – $12,638
Ian Kennedy has pitched very well for the most part but his price is getting a bit high for my liking. Considering how bad their bats are I will probably just avoid San Diego today altogether.
