Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – May 1

Pittsburgh Pirates (Morton, Cumpton) at Baltimore Orioles (Norris, Tillman)

I’m sure these guys are looking forward to playing baseball after having two games postponed already. Neither team has played since Monday.

I’m not a very big fan of either Pirates pitcher today, though Charlie Morton in GPPs is an interesting target. He has outings where he can look dominant but those are infrequent. I do like some of their hitters against Norris today, though.

Pedro Alvarez (3B) – $5573

Neil Walker (2B) – $5951

If I were to take a Baltimore pitcher, it would be Tillman in the second game. In fact, he’s been a mostly-elite pitcher and is being priced very cheaply today. He can make a very solid option today. I’m not overly excited on their hitters against Morton, though that might just be a mental block because of my affinity for Doc Morton.
