Arizona Diamondbacks (Bolsinger) at Chicago Cubs (Jackson)
Michael Bolsinger is a soft-tossing, two-pitch right-hander with one career start in the MLB. Even though he’s facing the Cubs, I still don’t think he’s worth anything near the risk. I don’t have any faith in the Diamondbacks hitters beyond Paul Goldschmidt, though Aaron Hill might be turning things around.
Paul Goldschmidt (1B) – $7679
Aaron Hill (2B) – $5268
Edwin Jackson has pitched awful so far this year and he’s lucky he hasn’t given up a home run yet (his Achilles’ heel at times) or it could have been a lot worse. I’d rather just look for some cheap Cubs hitters to use and avoid the pitchers. I suppose avoiding Cubs pitching should probably go without saying.
Starlin Castro (SS) – $5832
