Miami Marlins (Hand) at Washington Nationals (Zimmermann)
For his career, Brad Hand has almost as many walks (52) as strikeouts (59) and he’s been susceptible to the longball in the past. It doesn’t matter which side of the plate he attacks, he doesn’t seem to do very well. I don’t think I’ll be drafting anyone from the Marlins today.
Jordan Zimmermann is one of my favorite pitching plays for today. He went 3-0 with a 1.50 ERA in three starts against the Marlins last year and I don’t see why things would be different from this year. I would be looking at the infield options from the Nationals.
Ian Desmond (SS) – $6388
Danny Espinosa (2B) – $3901
Jordan Zimmermann (SP) – $17,951
