Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 9

Chicago White Sox (Johnson) at Colorado Rockies (Nicasio)

Erik Johnson was shelled in his first outing of the season against Kansas City, giving up 10 hits and seven earned runs in 4.2 innings pitched. He was a decent strikeout arm in the Minors but hasn’t continued that yet at the Major League level. I would be looking at a couple of White Sox righties today.

Adam Eaton (OF) – $5214

Marcus Semien (SS) – $3666

Nicasio is obviously to be avoided today – most pitchers in Coors are – but in Johnson’s limited career sample, he’s been hit much harder by lefties than righties. I will be looking for some left-handed bats from Colorado today.
