New York Mets (Colon) at Atlanta Braves (Harang)

Bartolo Colon represents a decent DFS option today in this sense: I don’t think he’ll have a lot of owners and the Braves offense so far this year has been very average (or below-average). But considering he’s about the same price as Buehrle, I’m fine with avoiding him. There are some Mets with decent batting samples (over 20 ABs) against Aaron Harang who have absolutely crushed him, too. So those looking for an offense to stack, going off the board with the Mets might not be a bad option.

Daniel Murphy (2B) – $6321

David Wright (3B) – $7867

I’m avoiding Aaron Harang completely today. Also, I’m not overly high on the Braves’ bats. There is one interesting name and it’s someone who has batted very well against Colon in the past and is super cheap today.

B.J. Upton (OF) – $3732
