Daily Fantasy Hockey DFS Value Update – April 5

Ed Mulholland-USA TODAY Sports

Ottawa Senators at New York Rangers

The Sens were embarrassed at home (which was kind of expected) so I’m curious as to the performance we’ll see from them tonight. With nothing left to play for, the second-worst team in terms of shots against might be ripe for getting dominated. Amazingly, this team is 2-1-2 in their last five games that were the second of back to backs, so maybe there is a bounce back here. I’m not relying on it, and I bet they get filled in on the scoreboard. They have also allowed seven power play goals against in their last nine games, FYI.

The Rangers have not allowed more than three goals against in eight straight games and oddly enough, the last team to get four or more on them was Ottawa (the game was an 8-4 win for the Rangers). They have killed off 10 straight penalties in three straight games and that has certainly helped Henrik Lundqvist put up elite numbers in his last four or five starts.

This game screams “stack the Rangers” but for some reason they make me a bit nervous. I will probably split the difference and have one GPP with New York stacked but the rest of my lineups will be sparse with their players. I do like Henrik Lundqvist in net for this one in any type of game, though.
