Los Angeles Dodgers at San Diego Padres
The Dodgers are sending Dan Haren to the mound and in a weird twist of events, his HR/9 innings at PetCo Park is about 1.2 HR/9 innings and that’s exceedingly high considering the ball park. That bodes well for a couple of San Diego hitters and will leave me avoiding Haren. Also, in six career at bats against Haren, Carl Crawford has yet to strike out (yay?) and has three hits.
Carl Crawford (OF) – $6093
I am fairly high on Padres hitters given their history against Haren: Nick Hundley has 10 hits in 29 career at bats against Haren while Chase Headley is a career .281 hitter (though with 10 strikeouts in 32 at bats and just one walk). I am kind of high on Tyson Ross this year but I’d probably wait for a game where they aren’t playing one of the best teams in the league to start him.
Nick Hundley (C) – $4677
Seth Smith (OF) – $4717
Jedd Gyorko (2B) – $5659
Good luck and here’s today’s lineup!
