Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update – April 2

Washington Nationals at New York Mets

Gio Gonzalez goes for the Nationals in this one and he’s done pretty well against the Mets over the last couple of years, posting an ERA under 3.00 in seven starts against New York. There isn’t much for prior history between Nationals hitters and Mets starter Bartolo Colon, so shots in the dark are better than most. My shot in the dark for this one is Anthony Rendon.

Gio Gonzalez (SP) – $19,207

Anthony Rendon (2B) – $5058

Raphael Soriano (RP) – $1708

The Mets are fairly anemic against Gio but two guys that have had success are the corner infielders, Ike Davis and David Wright: These two are a combined 8-for-25 against Gonzalez in their careers (.320) while the rest of the team is 10-for-75 (.133). I would also stay away from Colon.

Ike Davis (1B) – $3740

David Wright (3B) – $6938
